01The message and the content

The main offer, intended audience and next step are clear.Service details, prices where shown, contact information and factual claims are approved.Images, fonts and other assets have permission for their intended use.Navigation labels and important links describe where they lead.Placeholder copy, test products and unfinished pages have been removed or withheld.

02The paths people will actually take

The main enquiry, booking or buying journey has been tested from start to finish.Form labels, required fields, validation and error messages are clear.The page explains whether an enquiry is sent, booked or prepared as an email draft.Confirmation messages describe what really happened and what the visitor should do next.Email, telephone, download and external-platform links go to the correct destinations.

03Small screens and different ways to browse

The navigation and key actions work with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.Text can be enlarged without hiding important information or controls.The layout has been checked on a small phone and a wider desktop screen.Meaningful images have useful alternative text, and decorative images are marked appropriately.Text contrast, touch targets and reduced-motion behaviour have been reviewed.

04The pages search engines will find

Each important page has a descriptive title, meta description and main heading.Canonical URLs, social previews and structured data describe the real page and business.Changed URLs have a redirect plan, and valuable old content has a destination.The sitemap and robots settings reflect the pages intended for public discovery.Broken links, missing images and the HTTP response for a nonexistent page have been checked.

05Ownership, maintenance and privacy

The production domain and secure connection work on the intended address.The business knows who owns and can access the domain, hosting and connected accounts.The privacy information matches the forms, storage, analytics and tools actually in use.Someone is responsible for content updates, support and renewing paid services.A backup or rollback route is available, and the team knows how to request a correction.

06After it goes live

The main customer journey has been tested again on the production site.For submitted forms, a real test reaches the intended inbox or system.The live sitemap and important pages can be reviewed in the business’s search tools.The team can distinguish a click or draft from a delivered enquiry or completed order.There is a date to review errors, customer feedback and the quality of enquiries.
