A good question
can change
the whole business.

Why does a hotel sell a packed itinerary to someone who needs a break? Why does a gift shop assume the sender and recipient will never share the gift? Why does a beautiful product page leave you guessing whether the thing will fit?

These are the questions that interest us. There is often a more useful business idea hiding inside the usual website brief.

Question the habit.
Keep the useful part.

An unexpected idea earns its place when it gives someone a better reason to choose you. We look for conventions that have stopped helping, explore alternatives, then put the promising ones under pressure. Can people understand it? Can the business deliver it? Does it still work on an ordinary phone?

The answer sometimes calls for an unusual experience. Sometimes it calls for a very clear sentence and one less step.

Independent thinking.
A clear point of contact.

The Absurd Company is founded and owned by Andrew Morgan. Based in Kingston, Jamaica, we work with businesses worldwide.

Our services span website design and development, content creation, digital marketing, business development and AI consultancy. A project can focus on one need or connect several, with the scope agreed before work begins.

For AI consultancy, the starting question is practical: which part of the work would improve, what information would it use, and who checks the output? A useful system needs an owner, a fallback and a reason to exist.

01 / LOOK CLOSELY

Find the actual friction.

Study the offer, the customer’s decision and the business behind it. A request for more traffic may conceal a harder problem: nobody understands why they should buy.

02 / OPEN IT UP

Make room for alternatives.

Explore different ways to solve the problem, including changes to the offer itself. A new typeface cannot rescue an interchangeable proposition.

03 / MAKE IT ANSWER

Put the idea to work.

Build a small version people can use. Check comprehension, accessibility and the practical cost of delivering it. Keep what holds up and revise what does not.

A little curious.
Occasionally unconvinced.

Our asymmetric companion has a job: acknowledge, invite and occasionally raise an eyebrow. It gives the interface a human rhythm without getting between you and the information.

Choose an expression. There is no idle loop.

What have you been
doing by default?

Tell us what your business does, where the friction is and what you would like to change. A useful conversation can start there.
