PRIVACY / UPDATED 21 OCTOBER 2026
Your details.
Your business.
A plain explanation of what happens to the information you enter on this website.
This website’s project brief builder runs in your browser. The details you enter are used to show a draft for you to review, prepare an email or create a text file for you to download. The form itself does not send your details to The Absurd Company or store them in a database. You choose whether to send the prepared email through your email provider. Without JavaScript, a direct email link is available instead of the form.
Your project brief
The downloaded file contains the name, email address, services, investment range and project description you choose to provide. Keep the file somewhere safe. Only share information you are comfortable including, and do not include passwords or confidential customer data.
The launch checklist
The launch checklist updates its count in your browser. The website does not send your checked items to us or save them in a database, cookie or browser storage.
Returning to the work and journal
To return you to the same work or journal card, the website keeps a small amount of browsing context in this tab: the project or article, page and scroll position. It stays in your browser and is not sent to us. If this storage is unavailable, the page links still work.
Website delivery
Cloudflare delivers and secures the website and may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs. Fonts and artwork are served with the website.
Optional analytics
With your permission, Google Analytics measures page visits, device and referral information, and useful actions such as opening a study or preparing an enquiry draft. We do not include your name, email address, budget or project description in analytics events. Opening an email draft is measured as an action, not as proof that an email was sent.
The Google Analytics tag loads only after you allow analytics. Choosing “No thanks” keeps it off. Your preference is stored in this browser for up to six months. You can change it using “Analytics preferences” in the footer; withdrawing permission stops further collection and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled. Google may process analytics information on infrastructure outside your country. See Google's privacy policy for its handling of that information.
When you share a brief
Downloading a brief does not begin a project or create a contract. When you email us, we use the information you share to respond to your enquiry and discuss your project. For questions about your information or to request its deletion, contact hello@weareabsurd.co.
