Give the name a product behaviour.
The contrasting cans appear as a pair, rather than two unrelated hero props. The shop leads with the mixed option, so “off-script” describes a choice as well as a tone of voice.
STUDIO EXPLORATION / Brand & ecommerce
Your usual. Plus one.
An imagined drinks brand for a small departure from the usual. The Plot Twist Pair puts two named flavours in one order, giving the brand’s attitude a role in the product and the shop.
An imagined business. A considered direction. This is a self-initiated studio exploration. It is not a commissioned client project, a live business or a claim of measured results.
Turn trying a different flavour into a small, understandable first order, with a recognisable identity across the pack and shop.
People meeting a new drinks brand for the first time, comparing flavours and deciding what to put in a first order.
01 / THE QUESTION
A brand called Off/Script needs to do more than look rebellious. We imagined a first order that makes the name useful: a familiar flavour paired with a different one to try.
The question is whether a small mixed order can make exploration feel approachable. The study shows that proposition through packaging and a shop illustration. It does not establish demand, a recipe or a sales result.
02 / THE ABSURD ANGLE
Treat the first order as a taste rehearsal. A familiar flavour sits beside a deliberate departure, with a simple comparison question: which would you choose again? The working flight builder makes its pairing rule visible. The commercial hypothesis is that a small, understandable trial could be more useful than asking an unfamiliar customer to commit to a large case. That needs testing against fulfilment costs and repeat orders.
The contrasting cans appear as a pair, rather than two unrelated hero props. The shop leads with the mixed option, so “off-script” describes a choice as well as a tone of voice.
Original and Citrus are named in the selection. A real store would show recipes, allergens, quantities and price before checkout, with no random substitutions.
A single-flavour alternative sits alongside the pair. The creative idea invites a detour without making the customer fight the shop to buy what they want.
03 / THE NEXT DECISION, UP CLOSE
The mixed pair is the starting suggestion. Both flavours are named, the contents are visible and a single-flavour order stays available. The surprise belongs in the taste, with no mystery about what arrives.
TRY THE IDEA / The taste rehearsal
A first order should help you discover your taste. Build a two-can tasting flight around a familiar flavour and one considered departure.
Working studio prototype. Illustrative products and services, with no booking, order or data submission.
From the pack to the personality. One recognisable idea.
The two contrasting cans become a product proposition: one familiar flavour, one to try.
The campaign points to the pair you can choose in the shop, giving the attitude a product behind it.
THE VISUAL LANGUAGE
Compressed, emphatic display lettering, paired with simple product labels and a quieter shop interface.
04 / THE OUTPUT & ITS LIMITS
A drinks identity with a product idea behind its attitude. The mixed pair connects the contrasting cans, the campaign’s “daily plot twist” and the first shopping decision.
Evidence statusThis study shows original brand artwork and a proposed shopping interface. It is not a trading store, a tested checkout or evidence of sales. No commercial results have been measured.
